Scott Hydrogen Chloride Gas Standards

In N2 for Environmental Compliance Applications

Scott brand hydrogen chloride gas mixtures are ideal for calibrating CEMs used to measure HCl emissions and are used in conjunction with the US EPA methods listed below.

• Methods 26 and 26A: Determining HCl emissions from combustion stacks, primarily waste incinerators.
• Method 321: Determining HCl emissions from Portland cement kilns through the use of Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy.

Hydrogen chloride gas mixtures are also used for industrial hygiene and semiconductor applications. ACULIFE™ cylinder treatment assures mixture stability and accuracy.
